Important Update Regarding U.S. Orders

Due to the uncertainty surrounding the proposed upcoming American import tariffs, we’ve made the difficult decision to temporarily suspend online sales to the United States through our webstore.

There is currently talk that sellers may be required to collect tariffs in advance, and that failure to do so could result in American customers being hit with large “collection” fees upon delivery. As we do not yet have the necessary infrastructure in place to manage this system – and, critically, do not wish to risk surprise costs for our U.S. customers – we believe it is best to press pause for now.

While we continue to monitor the situation and (hopefully!) see some clarity emerge, we plan to move our sales exclusively over to eBay. Their platform will offer built-in support to handle these sorts of cross-border complications, which means fewer unknowns for both us and you.

To our loyal American friends and supporters – thank you. Your enthusiasm and orders over the years have played a massive role in helping Dobbies Hobbies grow. We truly hope this is only a short-term speedbump and that we’ll be back to normal as soon as possible.
